Undergraduate Program

Advanced Diploma of Ministry & Church Administration

This program is designed to provide participants with some of the fundamental principles of Christian Ministry and Church Administration. The participants will be required to apply the principles covered in the program to real life situations and organizations. Students must complete the following 8 courses to be awarded the Advanced Diploma of Christian Ministry and Church Administration. The 8 courses are divided into 2 Stages. The completion of Stage 1 will lead to the award of the Certificate of Ministry and Church Administration.

 

Stage 1

AMCA 2000 Principles of Church Management I

AMCA 2010 Administrative Leadership and Strategy in Christian Organizations I

AMCA 2020 Principles of Financial Management in Church Organizations I

AMCA 2030 Church Growth Principles and Management I

 

Stage 2

AMCA 20400 Principles of Church Management II

AMCA 2050 Administrative Leadership and Strategy in Christian Organizations II

AMCA 2060 Church Growth Principles and Management II

AMCA 2070 Principles of Family Counselling

 

This program may be completed in 1 – 2 years depending on the number of courses taken per trimester. Each year is divided into 3 trimesters and each trimester is 13 weeks duration. Students can commence study in the middle of January, May or September of every year.

Bachelor of Ministry and Counseling

This is a final year program for students without a Bachelor Degree in Ministry and Counseling but with at least a Diploma qualification in Theology or Ministry or in Biblical Studies prior to joining the program. To be awarded the Bachelor of Ministry and Counselling degree students complete the following 8 courses that are divided into 2 Stages. Students who complete Stage one will be awarded Associate Bachelor Degree of Ministry and Counseling.

BMIC 320 Counseling Principles and Practice I

BMIC 330 The Theology of Preaching and Ministry

BMIC 340 Bachelor of Ministry and Counseling Project I

 

Stage 2

BMIC 350 Survey of New Testament Books

BMIC 360 Counseling Principles and Practice II

BMIC 370 Church Growth Strategy

BMIC 380 Bachelor of Ministry and Counseling Project II

Bachelor of Ministry and Counseling (with Honors)

Students who hold a General Bachelor degree in Ministry and Counseling before joining the Honors program are required to study the following two courses for the Bachelor of Ministry and Counseling (Hons) degree.

 

BMIC 4010 Honors Research Methodology

BMIC 4100 Honors Project in the area of specialization

 

This program may be completed in 1 – 2 years depending on the number of courses taken per trimester. Each year is divided into 3 trimesters and each trimester is 13 weeks duration. Students can commence study in the middle of January, May or September of every year.
